Coaching & Tutoring Services

Does your child struggle with middle school or high school writing assignments?  Does your child lack confidence expressing ideas in wrtiting?  Our writing tutors go beyond simply helping students achieve better grades on school papers and essays.  We do this too, but writing mastery is the ultimate goal.

Our writing tutors provide students with individualized writing feedback and instruction that few classroom teachers have time for.   Our students learn the fundamentals of good writing and become skilled, confident writers.

Our students benefit from our customized writing services that include initial and ongoing writing assessments, targeted mini-writing lessons, and ongoing writing guidance and feedback.

Get Ready for High School

Master the Essentials of High School Writing:

Argument, informational, and narrative.

These are the three main types of writing required of high school students in 9th-12th grades.

Many students reach high school with a dread of writing assignments.  They lack confidence as writers, because they aren’t equipped with the skills necessary for high school writing requirements.  And these days, few teachers have the time to give students the kind of indivdualized writing instruction and feedback necessary to learning.

Do you have a child heading to high school or in the 9th or 10th grades who struggles with school essays and papers?   If so, consider our high school writing program.

Each of our students receives indivdualized writing guidance and instruction, based on an initial diagnostic.  Through a combination of tutoring, coaching, and instruction, our students build profiicency in the essential skills of high school writing, becoming more adept and confident writers.

Get Ready for Middle School Writing

Some educators believe that middle school (6th-8th grades) is the perfect time to teach writing.  Because middle-school aged children tend to be creative and imaginative, they’re both more open to and able to learn new writing strategies and techniques.

Yet, writing scores continue to decline….
