College Counseling Season starts… now
By Daryl CapuanoGeneral Education Advice
Parents of high school students: Start college counseling as soon as possible.
Here’s why: you want to have a couple of visits in the fall.
But you don’t want to wait until mid-December when finals are in full.
You can visit schools next weekend and then the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Thereafter, you likely need to wait until mid-January and early Feb. But the unpredictable nature of winter makes those dates somewhat predictable.
So start now. And you need to plan your college visits.
