The Career Process: Yes, start the conversation during high school

By General Education Advice

We (parents) were conditioned during a different economy.  Even parents in a highly educated state like Connecticut cannot easily overcome their past programming and, thus, start the career conversation far later than they should.

Through Career Counseling Connecticut. we work with college students who transfer because their college of choice does not have their major, those who drop out because they realize they are wasting money on a college major that has no job prospects and no longer interests them, and numerous twentysomethings who failed to launch.

The common factor: all had little to know career vision. We can help.
