Connecticut SAT Results Are In: Time for June!

By General Education Advice

We have received many nice notes from students and parents regarding the results of the April in-school SATs.

For most, this good news is tempered by our advice:

TAKE THE JUNE SAT

Very few students maximize their scores the first time around.  Indeed, we tell many of our students to take advantage of super-scoring and dedicate their energy to maximizing their strong section during the first time, while preparing enough to score respectably in their weaker section.  Then, maximize their weaker section the second time.

Ideally, students can have the score they need by the end of junior year.

Preparing for the August/October tests makes sense for some as they try to improve/maximize both sections.

Happy to help if needed.
