SAT-ACT Mastery Seminar Starting This Weekend
By Daryl CapuanoGeneral Education AdviceIn very broad strokes, there are families that – in a healthy way – take the college transition process seriously and there are those that bury their heads in the sand.
With the former, they realize (1) their child is about to undergo a major life transition (2) they and their child are about to invest a significant amount of money, time, and energy and (3) that “college” is actually a widely variant set of colleges that have wildly different environments and help create wildly different outcomes. They realize that they should do everything they can to be in a position to choose the best place for their child’s transition; that test prep translates to potentially tens of thousands of $$$, and that choosing a specific college that matches with their child’s preferred environment and maximizes the likelihood of good outcomes is really, really, really important.
