Take the August SAT!

Although I realize saying SAT and good news in the same sentence seems strange, the August SAT date is a great option for many students.  Junior year is really busy.  So upcoming juniors now have the option of preparing for the test in the summer and then taking the August test.  Seniors – who need to take the SAT again – absolutely should take the August test because it will help with their strategic admissions decisions.  October is the next SAT test date (September for the ACT).  Knowing one’s final SAT score prior to the fall of senior year is very important as it helps with Early Action and Early Decision strategic decisions.
